I was invited to talk about what writing a poem looks like for me over at the ottawa poetry newsletter. I couldn’t talk about that without talking about my mental health over the last two years. So here’s your content warning, this blog post is about my experience of burnout. While writing is an important part of mental health for me, I also go to therapy regularly, and I would encourage anyone who is struggling to do the same.
