I’m so excited for October! Not only because it’s Halloween (my favourite holiday), but because my book will FINALLY be out in the world, growing little legs and running far, far away. I’ve got quite a few events happening in October, so here’s the low-down.
I’m going to be reading at a special edition of Words in the Park for Culture Days on Saturday, October 1st. The readings take place at the City Square Plaza in Regina. I’m excited to hear the other readers, including Frances Boyle, Dwayne Brenna, Nathan Mader, and spoken-word artist Erin Dingle.
I’ll also be giving a pro-seminar at the University of Regina’s Department of English on Friday, October 7 at 2:30, immediately followed by an OMAD reading at 3:30. I’m pleased to announce that I’ll be joined by graduate students Credence McFadzean and Chelsea Coupal, who will be reading some of their recent work.
And, of course, I’ll be officially launching my book in Saskatoon and Regina on October 14th and 15th.
Can’t wait for October to arrive!
