I have a fun poem out in PRISM International‘s Myth Issue, called “A Lepidopterist Speaks to the Shobijin”. It’s based on the character Mothra from the Godzilla movies. Mothra is a giant moth goddess, also known as the Queen of the Monsters. She is attended by shobijin, which means “small beauties”.
